Lisanne Davidson Dip.ION MBANT, Nutritional Therapist
Lisanne practices at Beanbag Natural Health in Witney. She trained for 4 years at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and qualified with merit.
Lisanne has a busy private practice in Oxfordshire, has extensive experience both as a practitioner and presenter. She is a regular guest speaker on nutrition for yoga courses, weight loss classes and well-being groups. Lisanne is resident Nutritionist on BBC Radio Oxford.
Lisanne’s focus is finding out ‘why’ a particular health problem is occurring, not merely treating the symptoms. When causative factors have been established, then specific treatment, through dietary changes and therapeutic supplementation can be implemented.
Many simple, but compromising, health problems can be eliminated by addressing the root causes and working with body at a holistic level. Chronic health problems are also successfully treated, often when the client has ‘done the rounds’ elsewhere, but without the results hoped for. These people may be called ‘vertically ill’…. still able to hold down jobs, relationships and families, but it is a struggle.
Lisanne treats each client on a completely individual basis, depending on a variety of factors…. from the strengths and weaknesses we are born with, to the effect our current environment, diet and lifestyle have upon us.
Lisanne is passionate about helping people make real, and lasting, changes
to their health and lives, investigating the causes of ill -health, and not just
treating the symptoms.

good nutrition and health. (She is also one of the founding directors of 'Curtain Call', a professional theatre production company giving performing opportunities to all abilities)
Lisanne both designed and produced a colourful wall chart, the now well-known 'Yeastie Beastie Chart', for both practitioners and clients working with an anti-candida protocol. Backed by Erica White (UK's leading practitioner and authority on candida overgrowth) and The Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
Lisanne Davidson is registered and insured to practice privately, and is a member of British Association for
Nutritional Therapy (BANT).
