Homeopathy is a gentle yet powerful natural medicine that uses highly diluted substances to stimulate the body's own healing. It can be used to help such acute conditions as:

  • Sports Injuries
  • Insect Bites/Stings
  • Cuts and Bruises
  • Colds/Coughs/Sore Throats and Ear Infections
  • Vomiting and Diarrhoea
  • Fever
  • Short-Term Insomnia
  • Teething
  • Colic
  • Childhood Illnesses
  • Styes

Homeopathy is also particularly helpful in certain chronic conditions which require a longer appointment, available on request, such as:

  • Mental and Emotional difficulties
  • Grief
  • Anxiety
  • Hyperactivity
  • Hormonal Imbalance - such as the menopause
  • Allergies and Hay Fever
  • Pregnancy and Childbirth
  • Arthritis

THE CONSULTATION

The length of time of the consultation will depend on the nature of the complaint and prices range accordingly. It is based around your individual experience of the illness or problem and the focus is on your symptoms and what makes you better or worse. The usual time for an acute problem is 15 minutes.

In the case of chronic ailments the first appointment is around 1 hour and follow up consultations usually 45 minutes.

Appointments can be made by calling 07799 097977 or pop into the Beanbag and check on my availability.

PRACTITIONER PROFILE

Before studying Homeopathy I trained as a nurse in Oxford and worked for many years as a Macmillan Nurse. I have a grounded approach to homeopathy and strongly advocate integrated care by working alongside all other medical and complementary health practitioners.

I spent 4 years studying Homeopathy at the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in Devon and am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths.

I moved up from Devon with my husband and two young children a year ago to live in the beautiful village of Stanton Harcourt.
